How employers and/or stakeholders are to be involved

All public sector organisations in each of the 4 targeted counties in the East Midlands are eligible to become members of their respective Compacts. For this purpose, the LSC National Office definition of public sector is used and covers the following:-

• Social Care
• Prison Service
• Police
• Probation Service
• Youth Justice Board
• Fire Service
• Ambulance Service
• Health and Blood Service
• Central Government Agencies and Departments
• Local Government
• Armed Forces
• Universities
• Schools
• Further Education Colleges
• Court Services
• Children’s Services

The local LSCs have all nominated representatives as members of the Steering Groups.
