March 2006

Leicestershire Public Sector Compact established

November 2006

LSC engage the services of Lifelong Learning UK to roll out four Public Sector Compacts in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire & Rutland.

January 2007

Raising awareness of and holding inaugural meetings for public sector compacts in 4 counties in the East Midlands. These ‘Launch Events’ proved to be successful and all 4 counties decided to form a Public Sector Compact.

February 2007

First Steering Group meetings in each of the 4 counties took place Production of a document detailing apprenticeships available for the public sector mapped against the deliverers in each county

March 2007

Second Steering Group meetings take place
